On the call

We map out the second business, and whether it's right for you

You don't need a store, a product or an idea to have this conversation. You need a business that's hit the ceiling of what it can do with you standing in it.

  • 1
Look at what you're running now and work out what's actually capping it, whether that's premises, headcount or the number of hours you personally have
  • 2
Pinpoint the categories worth going after based on your capital, your timeline and the experience you already have, rather than whatever happens to be trending
  • 3
Map the route from today to your first sale with honest timelines on sourcing, build and launch, so you know what you're committing to before you commit to it
  • 4
Pressure test the numbers so you know what it costs to launch and test properly, and whether the margins in that category can carry paid traffic
  • 5
Leave with a plan you can act on in the right order, whether we end up working together or you go and build it yourself

It's a conversation, not a pitch. If your current business isn't at a stage where this makes sense yet, we'll tell you that on the call and tell you what to fix first.

Read this bit properly

This isn't for everyone, and it might not be for you

We turn people away every week. Usually because the timing is wrong rather than the person. If any of these sound like you, save yourself the call.

  • You want passive income. This is a business, and it behaves like one. The model runs without you being in a building, but it doesn't run without you
  • You can't find the hours. If your current business is taking every waking minute, fix that first. Starting this on fumes is how people end up doing neither properly
  • You've no capital to put behind it. Stock, samples and testing all cost money before anything comes back. If your current business is struggling for cash, this is the wrong month
  • You want a guaranteed number. Nobody can honestly promise you a revenue figure by a date. Anyone who does is telling you what you want to hear
  • You want it built for you. We build the store, the flows and the plan, and we're in your corner daily. But it's your brand, and the decisions and the graft stay yours
  • You're expecting it inside a month. Sourcing and sampling take as long as they take. If you need cash out of this by Christmas, the timeline won't work

Still here? Then you're the sort of person this is built for. Answer six quick questions and we'll get you booked in.

Straight answers

The questions everyone asks first

I'm already flat out running my business. Where do the hours come from?

Realistically you need eight to ten hours a week to make proper progress, and most people find them in evenings and early mornings. The point is that it's front-loaded. Sourcing, building and launching take real graft, but the model itself doesn't demand your physical presence the way your current business does, so the hours drop rather than climb as it grows. If you genuinely can't find those hours right now, we'd rather you waited than started badly.

How much do I actually need to put behind it?

On top of the programme you need money for samples, your first stock order and enough ad budget to test properly. Compared to what you've already spent on premises, equipment and staff, it's small. Compared to a side hustle, it isn't nothing. We'll go through the real numbers for your category on the call before you commit to anything, and if the maths doesn't work for where you are right now, we'll say so.

I don't know anything about ecommerce. Does that matter?

Less than you think. The tactical side, stores, ads, email, product listings, is learnable in weeks and we walk you through all of it. What takes years is knowing how a business actually works. Reading a P&L, understanding margin, managing people, negotiating with suppliers, holding your nerve when a month goes badly. You've done all of that under real pressure. Most people who fail at ecommerce don't fail at ecommerce, they fail at business, and that's the part you've already proved.

Do I need a product idea before I start?

No. Plenty of people come in with nothing but a decision to do something, and choosing the right category is one of the first things we work on together. If you do already have an idea, bring it and we'll pressure test whether the margins can carry paid traffic before you spend anything on it. Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake in ecommerce, so it's worth the time up front.

How long before I see money coming in?

It depends almost entirely on your route. Sourcing an existing product is quicker than developing your own, where sampling alone can take a couple of months and often needs a second round. Anyone promising you revenue by a fixed date is guessing. What we can tell you on the call is a realistic timeline for the specific route you're taking, so you know what you're signing up to before you sign up to it.

Do I have to give up the business I've already got?

No, and we'd usually tell you not to. Your current business is what funds this one and takes the pressure off needing it to work by next month. Most people build alongside what they've got, and decide later whether they want to step back from it, sell it, or keep both running. That decision is a long way down the road and it's yours.

What do you actually do, and what's left to me?

We build the store, structure the offer and pricing, set up the email and retention side, and work with you on acquisition, with a private channel where you've got me and the team directly. What stays with you is the decisions, the supplier relationships and the daily graft. If you're developing your own product, sampling, labelling and compliance sit with your manufacturer, and our job is making sure you demand the right things from them rather than getting stitched up. It's your brand, and it should be.

Why should I trust you over everyone else selling this?

Fair question, and you shouldn't take anyone's word for it. The difference worth checking is that this isn't a business built on teaching. I run a car care brand doing real volume, and everything we teach is what we run there first. Ask on the call for specific numbers, ask to speak to people who've been through it, and ask what didn't work. Anyone who can't answer all three isn't worth your money.
